Body Mass Index is a simple calculation by using a person's height and weight . The formula is BMI = Weight in Kilogram / Height in metres squared (kg/m²).
• Underweight = < 18.5
• Normal = 18.5 - 24.9
• Overweight = 25.0 - 29.9
• Obesity Class I = 30.0 - 34.9
• Obesity Class II = 35.0 - 39.9
• Obesity Class III = > 40.0 or equal 40.0
If person having < 18.5 by BMI test they call as underweight person . For their having some problems . Sometimes they can feel shame also , feel weak and due to underweight they can have some medical condition also .
